For years, regulatory bodies resisted direct-to-consumer dental appliances. That has changed. Today, the regulatory doors are open—and overseas labs, particularly in China, are already selling dental appliances directly to patients in the United States. Independent U.S. labs deserve a compliant, professional path into this market as well. After 47 years running a dental lab, including 25 as a CDT, and pioneering at-home dentistry more than 15 years ago, I built iHomeDental as that infrastructure. In a landscape already reshaped by DSO and private-equity consolidation, iHomeDental gives independent labs a way to participate in direct patient care responsibly—using a lab-controlled home impression kit at the center of the process.

• DSOs and private-equity consolidation continue to crowd out independent labs, limiting their access to patients and margin control.
• The at-home model is no longer experimental—it is proven, scalable, and profitable when run by experienced U.S. labs using lab-controlled impression workflows.

Choose Your Path

Option 1: Affiliate Program (Hands-off, simple)

• Every major city is exclusive to one lab. If your lab is not located in a large enough city, you may claim the closest major city near you—provided it is not already taken.
• We handle manufacturing, marketing/SEO, customer service, kits, and shipping.
• You earn 15% of every order generated from your exclusive city page. Since iHomeDental only advertises major cities, customers must select the nearest city before placing an order—ensuring all orders in your area are credited to you.
• Payouts: twice monthly to your PayPal, released 30 days after delivery (to align with return policy).
• Risk-free trial: $150/month for 3 months → then $300/month to keep your city slot.
• Marketing Match: During the initial trial period, iHomeDental will match your $150/month marketing fee, effectively doubling early visibility while keeping your out-of-pocket cost low.
• State-Level Protection: To avoid market saturation and protect early partners, only one city per state will be offered initially until a defined revenue threshold is reached, at which point additional cities may be opened.

Best for: Labs who want to test the waters with minimal overhead.
Private Participation: Your lab’s name stays hidden on the site, so dentists you currently serve won’t know you’re participating.

Option 2: Partner Website Page (Shared-responsibility)

Your page, your brand

• A dedicated page on iHomeDental.com for your lab profile, services, and products.
• You choose which appliances to offer and set your regional pricing.

We manage the customer journey

• Customer service
• Impression kit shipping
• Coordination of shipping & delivery

You manage production & demand

• Fabricate the appliances you offer.
• Promote your Partner Page in your market.

Full transparency

• CRM login to track orders, leads, contacts, impression photos, and shipping activity in real time.

Partner service fees (per order):

• Cancel before kit ships → $0 (patient refunded; no cost to you).
• Cancel after kit ships, before impressions returned → $25 (covers kit + shipping; patient refunded balance; your payout not affected).
• Cancel after device delivered → $30 fulfillment fee retained by iHomeDental; patient refunded rest; you are still paid for fabrication.
• Completed order → $50 service fee deducted; remainder stays with your lab.

Best for: Labs who want a branded online storefront and pricing control while we handle customer-facing details.
Your Information: Your lab’s name will be posted on your website page so dentists and consumers know who is making the appliances. This option gives you full visibility, credibility, and the ability to brand your lab directly.
