The dental industry is changing. Direct-to-patient dental appliance companies are now selling appliances online to patients across the United States. Many of these companies operate outside the U.S., while independent American laboratories—who have the training and experience—often lack the infrastructure required to participate in the online marketplace.
iHomeDental was created to help solve that problem.
After 47 years operating a dental laboratory, including 25 years as a Certified Dental Technician (CDT), I built iHomeDental to provide a practical and compliant pathway for independent laboratories to benefit from the growing demand for at-home dental appliances.
The goal is simple: allow laboratories to participate in online dentistry without needing to build and manage their own ecommerce business.

The iHomeDental Affiliate Model removes these barriers.
Instead of requiring each laboratory to build its own online system, iHomeDental centralizes the operational components needed to run a compliant online appliance program.
Our focus is simple:

By centralizing these operational responsibilities, iHomeDental allows laboratories to participate safely and profitably in the online marketplace while remaining focused on what they do best: laboratory production and patient outcomes.
How the Affiliate Program Works
Each participating laboratory is assigned one exclusive major city.
When patients visit iHomeDental, they select the major city closest to them before placing an order. Orders originating from that city are credited to the laboratory that holds the Affiliate position for that region.
iHomeDental manages the operational side of the process, including:
- National marketing and SEO
- Customer service and patient communication
- Impression kit fulfillment and shipping
- Order coordination and case tracking
- Production through our laboratory network
Affiliate laboratories participate in the revenue generated from their assigned city without needing to operate the online infrastructure themselves.
Affiliate Earnings
Affiliate laboratories earn:
15% commission on every completed order generated from their assigned city.
Payments are issued:
- Twice monthly
- Released 30 days after delivery (aligned with the return policy)
- Paid directly to your PayPal account
This allows laboratories to benefit from online demand while maintaining their existing day-to-day operations.
City Exclusivity
Participation is limited.Each major city is assigned to one Affiliate laboratory.
Once a city is claimed, it is removed from availability. This structure ensures early participants receive long-term protection within their assigned region.
Large states may eventually be divided into multiple regions as participation grows.
Low-Risk Trial Period
Laboratories can test participation before committing long-term.
Trial Period:
$150 per month for the first 3 months
During this initial trial period, iHomeDental will match your $150 monthly marketing contribution, effectively doubling early visibility while keeping your out-of-pocket cost low.
After the trial period, the city slot continues at:
$300 per month
Private Participation
Many laboratories prefer to keep their participation private from dentists they currently serve.
With the Affiliate program:
- Your laboratory name does not appear on the website
- Your existing dentist relationships remain protected
- You simply earn from online demand generated in your region
Limited Availability
Affiliate participation is limited to one laboratory per major city.
Once a city is assigned, it is no longer available.
