These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services offered by iHomeDental. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this page carefully before purchasing.
iHomeDental provides custom dental appliances made in a professional dental laboratory. These products are made based on impressions that you take at home using an impression kit provided with your order.
By purchasing from this website, you agree that your order is subject to these Terms and Conditions and any additional product-specific instructions provided on the website or by email.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use this website or place an order.
iHomeDental is not a dental office and does not provide dental diagnosis, dental treatment, or dental care. Our products are custom dental appliances made by a dental laboratory.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You will take your own teeth impressions yourself.
- You do not have loose teeth, severely decayed teeth, or untreated gum disease.
- You will consult a dentist if you experience pain, discomfort, or dental concerns.
- Our staff are dental appliance providers and are not licensed dentists.
- A dentist may be required for adjustments or dental-related issues.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that:
- All appliances are custom-made and are not exchangeable.
- You are responsible for taking accurate impressions.
- The fit of your device depends on the accuracy of your impressions.
- You do not have known allergic reactions to impression material, silicone, plastics, or stainless steel.
- iHomeDental is not responsible for tooth or gum sensitivity.
- Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
- Impression kits are non-reusable and may become non-refundable once shipped or opened.
To place an order, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information.
You may not place an order on behalf of another person unless you are authorized to do so.
Payment information is processed securely through our payment providers. iHomeDental does not store your full payment card information.
- After your order is placed, your impression kit will be prepared and shipped.
- You will take your impressions at home using the kit provided.
- You will return your impressions using the return shipping instructions provided.
- Once received, your impressions will be reviewed for approval.
- If approved, your custom dental appliance will be manufactured.
- Your completed appliance will then be shipped back to you.
Manufacturing time is typically 10 to 12 business days after approved impressions are received. Shipping times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.
Once tracking shows that a package has been delivered, iHomeDental is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed after delivery confirmation.
Because our products are custom-made, refunds are limited and depend on where your order is in the process.
Cancellation before shipment:
If your order is cancelled before the impression kit has shipped, you may receive a refund minus a 20 dollar cancellation fee.
After the impression kit has shipped:
If the impression kit has shipped, a refund may only be available if the unopened kit is returned and received by our office. The original shipping envelope must not be opened.
Important refund conditions:
- Opened impression kits are non-refundable.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Orders older than 180 days are not eligible for refunds.
- All sales are final after 180 days from the date of purchase.
- Refunds are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days if approved.
You have 30 days from the receipt of your completed device to request a one-time free adjustment or one-time free remake.
To remain eligible, the device must be returned within 60 days from the date you received it.
Free adjustments or remakes do not apply in the following cases:
- Incorrect tooth shade selection.
- Incorrect plastic color selection.
- Cosmetic preferences outside our standard product design.
- Requests for retainers to move or align teeth.
- Devices made from previous scans or impressions if your teeth have shifted.
- Cases involving broken, decayed, loose, or unsuitable teeth.
- Cases where the required number of teeth was not present when the order was placed.
The lab will determine whether a fit issue requires an adjustment or a remake.
If you are asked to retake an inaccurate impression, you must remove all previous impression material from the tray before retaking the impression.
If previous material is not removed properly or the tray cannot be reused, you may be required to purchase a new impression kit.
Some appliances require a minimum number of existing teeth so the lab can determine how your upper and lower teeth meet and where replacement teeth should be placed.
If you order a device with teeth added and you do not meet the required tooth conditions, the lab may still proceed if possible, but the free adjustment or remake policy may not apply.
If the lab cannot make the device due to missing required teeth or unsupported conditions, any approved refund may exclude impression kit costs and applicable cancellation or handling fees.
Retainers are designed to help maintain the current position of your teeth. They are not designed to move teeth, close spaces, or align teeth.
We do not provide free remakes or adjustments for requests involving wire adjustments to move teeth or close gaps.
If you want teeth movement, you should consider clear aligners or consult your dentist.
Before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider, we ask that you contact us first so we can review your order and discuss available options.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to this policy.
If a chargeback is filed and funds are owed based on the order agreement, your account may be sent to collections. You may be responsible for collection fees, court costs, attorney fees, and other costs associated with collecting the balance due.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, iHomeDental is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to the use of this website or any product purchased from this website.
iHomeDental is not responsible for dental issues, discomfort, sensitivity, or conditions unrelated to the manufacture of the appliance.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
Products and services are provided as available and according to the information submitted by the customer.
iHomeDental does not guarantee that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted. We do not guarantee results when impressions are inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable.
By using this website, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website.
- Interfere with website security features.
- Use the website for unlawful purposes.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with another person or business.
